We are Hiring for Java Software Engineer
Description
We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our process Automation Division,
Hyderabad, reporting to the product owner. The candidate will define system architecture for a
range of process automation product lines. The candidate will translate business requirements
for SW applications into use cases and tangible technical specifications. The candidate will work
closely with internal cross functional teams including product managers, system architects,
hardware and firmware design engineers, test engineers and engineering management. The
candidate must be able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
Qualifications(External)
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in design, development and maintenance of
windows/web based Java enterprise systems and 4+ years experience in technical
leadership or management.
Hands on knowledge and experience in end to end Software Development Life Cycle;
Able to manage the scope of requirement, to review application design and to
deliver effective solutions.
Strong technical skills in JVM Memory management , Design patterns ,Java/J2EE
technologies like JSP, Servlets, JSF.
Good experience in databases like mysql , postgresql ,Hibernate , Swings / AWT
Good knowledge of debugging and enhancing the existing legacy java project.
Good knowledge of data management queries in SQL.
Good knowledge in Eclipse, Apache ANT
Good knowledge on static code analysis and code management tools
Candidates should have good analytical skills and problem solving ability, and should be
able to write Design documents.
Hands on experience on executing projects with Agile methodology, using TFS is a
must.
Independent and proactive.
Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Maintain and enhance the existing application systems to achieve optimal solutioning.
Participate in the Architecture Review Board, providing technical guidance and design
review / validation to strategic projects.
Mentor software development teams, encourage adoptions of latest technologies,
promote use of best practices and design patterns.
