Job Description

Prepares documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import and export steps and procedures. Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees

What are the roles and responsibilities of import executive Plans and oversees the flow of goods for international and domestic traffic. Calculates duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported and imported. What are duties in import export Custom duty is a kind of an indirect tax that is imposed on both exported and imported goods and services. The tax imposed on the import of goods is known as the import duty. Whereas, the tax imposed on the export of goods is known as the export duty.

Job description

Planning & managing all aspects of import and export shipment and its operational status.
Knowing export benefits schemes and preparing necessary documentation pre and post shipment.
Liaising with insurance companies, customs, excise and other key parties to manage the overall functioning smoothly.
Ensuring seamless execution of export import transactions, by keeping close contact with Government agencies & departments and ensuring all paperwork is done well in advance.
Budgeting for the year and monitoring all reports to look out for ad hoc changes.
