Key Result Areas:
- Key Accounts Management (existing Indian and overseas clients)
- Identifying and developing new markets & clients
- Sales Numbers
- Profit margins
- Sales Administration
- Collection of outstandings
Finding/Creating New clients and making sales of new APIs (new molecules developed by the co)
Responsibilities
- Independently prospect and complete the sales cycle for sales of specialized molecules for a veterinary API unit
- The prospect base could be either at the national or international level. (Familiarity with international business terms desirable)
- Primarily would target formulations cos in India and abroad and for selling company's new and existing products.
- Selling Advance intermediates for DMF approved or other companies used for their specialized API molecules.
- Would also prospect larger API cos. for utilizing co.s manufacturing and research capabilities (CRAMS);
- Sales prospecting, sales finalization and collections, seeding and developing markets, scouting opportunities
- Achieving targeted sales at defined margins would be critical for this role;
- Order finalization along with managing customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- The role calls for a go-getter with leadership skills
- Must create excellent market MIS including competitor activities and prospects status
- The job entails not only order finalization, but also managing customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- This is a new position with opportunity to handle domestic & global clients.
Candidate should be open to travel within India for prospecting and business development.
Requirement:
- B.Sc/ MSc / Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering
- PG in sales &marketing would be an advantage
- 6 - 15 years in handling B2B sales to pharmaceutical formulation cos.
- Must have proven track record of successfully prospecting and managing key customers;
- Must be conversant with GMP procedures to enable him to have meaningful technical discussions with decision makers (purchase, process engineers, etc)
- Confident in written and oral communication / proficient in English
- Gender: Male
- Age:28 to 42 years
Salary Range: Negotiable in the range of Rs.4 6 lakhs + Target based incentives
