Job Description

We are looking for 10 Staff Nurses for NICU and PICU Dept , for Siliguri , West Bengal location  for a very well known Hospital .

Any GNM or B.Sc Nursing candidates can apply for this.

JOB DESCRIPTION OF NICU NURSE-

• Providing round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants.
• Caring for the basic needs of infants; for example, feeding and changing diapers.
• Performing medical procedures; for example, inserting intravenous lines, performing tests, and administering medications.
• Assisting the NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments.
• Using and adjusting specialized medical equipment.
• Formulating nursing plans and evaluating the effectiveness of treatments.

JOB DESCRIPTION OF PICU NURSE-

• • Providing emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times, such as death or serious illness
  • Monitoring patient vitals such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, temperature, and weight on a frequent basis to ensure they are within normal limits
  • Monitoring the childs progress and communicating with other health care professionals regarding treatment plans and patient progress
  • Performing physical examinations on patients, including listening to lungs with a stethoscope and checking pulses in arms and legs
  • Preparing infants for feeding by suctioning out their noses and mouths with a bulb syringe
  • Monitoring the infants feeding schedule, administering feeding through a tube that has been inserted into the stomach through the navel, and changing
