Senior Cloud Engineer - Automation @ Apttus

Desired Candidate Profile

Description

This role will interact directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure their readiness to adopt Azure and support them through their transition to Microsoft cloud services as well as operations and optimization with automation. The primary product focus and responsibility will pertain to support of Apttus Enterprise SaaS platform with specific emphasis in the Azure and AWS platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in developing solution for automated deployment and CI/CD preferably on Azure / AWS. Job Duties:

4+ years experience in developing solutions for automated deployment.
Must have a strong Automation mindset.
Experience in cloud operations / engineering experience (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure) in deploying and managing production environments.
Automation/configuration management using either Chef, Puppet or Ansible.
Strong scripting and automation skills and experience (Python, PowerShell, ARM Templates Terraform, and Cloud Formation, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to analyse and understand complex problems or processes, identify and understand requirements, and develop solutions.
Experience with source control management (Git/Bit bucket preferred).
Azure PaaS and IaaS (Azure LB, Azure AD, Cosmos, Service Bus etc.)
AWS PaaS & IaaS (ALB, KMS, EC2, auto scaling)
Work collaboratively across a variety of projects using the latest technologies
Work in small teams engineers performing core infrastructure software engineering tasks
Support and continuous enhancement of software development infrastructure: continuous integration and delivery, databases, cloud services, systems monitoring, etc.
Consulting with developers in infrastructure configuration issues (Application performance optimization, network bottlenecks, storage configuration, etc.)
Mentor new consultants in core infrastructure engineering skills and practices
