Job DescriptionProgramme / Project Test Management To govern the implementation of Group approved frameworks and standards for Testing within the Project to ensure compliance Drive implementation of standardized or the customized testing framework within systems development on test process , templates , tools , etc. To ensure that adequate testing is carried out in the project before deploying changes in Production. Take responsibility governing all test phases of testing activities (from UT to Implementation - UVT) within the Project. Prepare the overall testing approach / strategy for the project. Take part in the ACAB; review and approve of all testing deliverables to enable the change requests are approved without any underlying quality risks. Maintain awareness of testing alternatives at a level where they can be analyzed and the most effective testing strategy selected and agreed. Apply testing knowledge and experience to assess and advice on the practicality of testing process alternatives. Identifies improvements to the process and assists in their implementation from time to time. Ensure that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the system test plan are clearly documented and described to the Project teams / Business users and the Testing Teams. Work closely with project managers to understand areas where GTM will be able to value add in the respective portfolio / program. Understand the dynamics (and constraints) of the Project. Ensure that best practices followed in the projects are documented and shared to the concerned teams. Ensure the learning from the past is meticulously applied for the continuous improvements. Drive the discussions with the testing teams across phases on the capacity Review the Project metrics , monitor the KPIs and publish the risks , metrics and KPIs to the stakeholders Take an active part in the RCA analysis of Production defects and assist the stakeholders in providing an independent view of the root causes Build robust performance testing solutions to ensure programme meets performance criteria s along with the performance testing team. Benchmark application performance and determine the capabilities of application under load. Drive Test Automation to increase productivity and accelerate regression testing by implementing automation effectively to achieve optimum return on investment and showcase real benefits to the projects in which they are implemented. Process and Compliance Champion the test processes and / or standards as defined by project and SCB (as Per the QMF Lite). Implement the corresponding Entry / Exit Criteria of each test phase within the project , as well as impose the Dispensation Process as applicable. Conducts regular review of projects / programme test phases (from UT to Implementation - UVT) and submit the findings to the TSD Head and other stakeholders Assess risks in the dispensation requests raised and submit independent assessment report the TSD head on the dispensation requests Contribute in developing application engagement models Upholding the values of the group and the unit at all times. Customer and Service Focus Responsive to customer and project needs , as well as managing / exceeding customer expectations. Act as single point of contact for the TSD Head for the testing solutions , testing relating risk assessments and mitigation plans for a project Analyze the production incidents and the root - cause pointed gaps with respect to Testing are bridged. Establish a close working relationship with Project / Programme manager to understand issues and risks underlying the projects. Leadership Mentor the various testing teams for the effective test processes Keep abreast of Industry Trends and open to new ideas to adapt the best fitting model to the changing needs of the projects.
