SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
SCOPE:
Manage MALOMATIA Production and Non-Production environments
Represent as a single point of contact within MALOMATIA, acting as their advocate and act as the primary point of contact for assigned delivery staff
Involved in practice development activities either within entire Malomatia Organization.
Work as required with designated Implementers, Partners and 3rd party service providers
Work on improvement initiatives as required
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Review existing services including to ensure a thorough understanding of the requirements
Produce Project Scope Objectives and Approach that outline the Project Management processes and include:
Generate & manage work plan, key deliverables, resources required, roles and responsibilities, risks, issues and dependencies according to agreed standards
Produce regular and accurate progress reports
Implement Service Improvement policy and processes
Establish priorities
Plan for service growth
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the MALOMATIA contract or service delivery engagement
Maintain and develop an Account Plan and Service Delivery Plan
Establish a relationship with MALOMATIA team ONSHORE and ONSITE in order to encourage participation in all activities
Plan and deploy Support activities to ensure effective delivery
When required participate in pre-sales activities to ensure they reflect realistic project delivery
Provide leadership, motivation and direction
Monitor and report the progress against the Service Delivery Plan
Assure and improve the quality of the service and maintain accurate account information
Manage changes to the Service Delivery Plan
Identify additional opportunities for to engage with MALOMATIA, such as technical events, business seminars, and Customer Advisory Boards
Communicate that the lessons learned on any Project are communicated within
Desired Skills:
Should have minimum 15 - 20 years of IT experience with minimum 10+ years of experience in to IT Service Delivery operations.
Experience in handling Offshore based support services projects
Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization
Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes with Program Governance framework
Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements
Should be contributing to and implementing Operations and Delivery Strategy.
Responsible for continual improvement in line with the business and delivery strategy.
Establish relationship with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Should be the spokesperson on the operational impact on areas concerning product
Motivate the team to achieve their objectives and performance targets.
ITIL V3/ Prince 2 Certified.
PMP / Scrum Certified will be an added advantage
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Although not definitive, the ideal candidate will typically be expected to demonstrate the following attributes:
Strong Technical Skills. Have a solid understanding in Oracle/Cloud/Managed Services /Security Applications, as well as a functional background.
Strong Project Management Skills
Experience in delivering infrastructure and/or application projects, preferably using the MALOMATIA standards and processes.
Ability to multitask, maintain composure in high-stress/high-visibility situations and change priority as needed to accommodate a very dynamic business.
Excellent team player.
Willing to learn new technologies.
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Strong customer support skills.
University degree, with post graduate technical or management qualifications or other relevant experience. Experience in financial services is preferred, but not required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Fluency with written and spoken communication in English is required, and also alignment with customer business hours.
On-call responsibilities.
Running large Global Projects
International travel with onsite experience will be looked at favorably
Strong interpersonal communication and relational skills, ability to interact effectively at executive level
Implementing appropriate framework and processes (e.g. ITSM, , IPMPF, or another professional framework), using tools and follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) end-to-end
Ability to set and reset priorities based on knowledge of business partners technology roadmaps and key strategies
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand business processes
Experience in the capacity of Project Manager or Delivery Manager/Lead 15 to 20years with proven track of successful accomplishments of project assignments in quality-led and international environments (Experience with SCRUM or different agile development methodology is strong advantage)
Strong and proven ability to manage and deal with different cultures and nationalities
Demonstrated ability to manage large scale process change efforts
