Desired Candidate Profile
Product Manager Job Responsibilities:
Develops and Lead products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; developing marketing strategies.
Job Duties:
Determines customers needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
Create Product Roadmap repository for PBL items with their acceptance criteria
Get the initial efforts estimate from the development team for the development of the PBL items
Priorities the PBL item in the order of their relevance for the market and customer demands
Select the PBL items to be developed
Define the tentative time plan for the release of the enhanced features
Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
Prepares budget for product management staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Obtains product market share by working with sales to develop product sales strategies.
Help in Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data;
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Liasoning with other Departments for any training needs
