Job Description
Job Purpose The QA Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating for performing software tests and quality assurance activities for EduNxt Application. The QA Manager determines if the release meets expected requirements and results, documents defects and observations. Qualification & Experience BSc/MSc/MCA/BE/BTech 3-6 years of experience in functional test automation Skills Manual Testing, Automation testing, Selenium,Jmeter,Bug tracking tool. Should have hands on experience in Selenium Web Driver & Grid, Framework implementation Basic SQL/DB Concepts Sound knowledge on entire Testing Lifecycle & QA Process Familiarity with any BTT (Bug tracking tool) Should have very good automated testing skills on Web Applications Appreciates the value of unit tests Able to deduce an issue within the system efficiently and also communicate effectively to those responsible. To prepare and submit status reports on Project or closure of escalations. To create work plans| monitor and track the work schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client and team Willing to take on new challenges and Ability to work independently with minimal direction Job Role Guiding and mentoring team on Technical aspects as well as handling the daily Operational issues that may arise Review test plans, test cases based on Requirements specifications Participate and in the Agile process including integration, system, UAT, and regression testing Collaborate effectively with peer engineers and architects to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas to deliver end-to-end quality in our technology and customer experience. Identify, analyze, and document software defects. Provide coverage reports. Provide feedback and recommendations to developers concerning software usability and functionality. Act as a customer advocate and ensure Customer satisfaction measured by software quality metrics. Provide L3/L4 technical support and provide support to field implementation teams Design and executive test plans on computer applications. Record and document results and compare to expected results. Generate historical analysis of test results. Document anomalies and issues. Maintain database of software defects. Examine code and execution of code in various environments. Verify specific action or function of code. Operate and maintain test networks. Provide application instructions for users. Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications. Create meaningful error handling procedures for application code.Job Classification
