Sr. Manager / Manager Accounts & Finance

Place of posting: Opera House (Charni Road) Mumbai

Qualification: Should be a qualified CA / MBA in Finance / B.Com

Job Description:

1. Maintenance of proper books of accounts (electronic) on a timely basis.

2. Maintenance of proper and relevant documents and other records reflecting the accounting transactions to support the accounting entries and quick retrieval thereof

3. Timely or periodically preparation of financial statements and reporting thereof

4. Compliance with the applicable laws dealing with accounting aspects and maintenance of accounting records and reports in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

5. Liasoning with the internal, statutory, tax, cost and other auditors and completing the audit process is a smooth and timely manner.

6. Timely preparation of comprehensive MIS and other reports for adequate disclosure of relevant information and analysis to the management.

7. Preparation of periodical budgets and financial plans

8. Cost control and rationalization and maintenance of costing information and records

9. Compliance with direct and indirect tax laws in terms of deduction of tax at source, payment of taxes, filing of returns, maintenance of records, completion of assessments, etc. and liaising with tax consultants and advisors, etc.

10. Liaising with banks for smooth running of banking operations

11. Raising of funds from banks, where required and as per the decision of the management

12. Team handling experience.
