Location: Mumbai

Job Role Summary:

 This position is within my client's Mumbai Offices that work with the business, key stakeholders and delivery teams to deliver key products, both internal and customer-facing, using agile principles. This individual is part of a successful Agile Team that is responsible for the delivery and support of various solutions used to meet customer needs. The key to the success of this position is partnering with Delivery Teams, coaching them to ensure functionality through ongoing understanding of agile practices. The Scrum Master facilitates sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, prepares and facilitates retrospectives, etc. to support the successful delivery of product backlog work items. In addition to owning the Scrum Master duties for a team, this position is instrumental in driving cohesive agile practices across the team.

Primary Job Functions:

• Serves as servant leader for an Agile Team.
• Coach the team on Scrum, Kanban principles & practices.
• Help remove impediment.
• Plan and setup Agile Ceremonies - Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Retrospective, etc.
• Act as a servant leader including facilitation, situational awareness, and conflict resolution.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, to monitor sprint progress.
• Coach and mentor the business delivery team in agile frameworks and principles and fostering the teams ability to self-organize.
• Mediate conflicts to assist the team in making decisions.
• Remove sprint road blocks and facilitate solution development with the team.
• Supports a culture of continuous process improvement through sprint retrospectives and key indicators around team performance.
• Ensures clear communication and organization of all strategic and business delivery team goals.
• Promote transparency and team empowerment across teams.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree from recognized university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 -10 years experiences in relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills, including an ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
• Certified Scrum Master; Working experience in running an Agile Team as a Scrum Master.
• Prior work experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Software (ERP Systems) is an advantage.
• UX/User Center Design principles.
• Knowledge or experience with Agile Development.
• Have good problem solving and facilitation skills.
• Great time management and organisation skills.
