We are seeking a Sr. Software Developer who will help us build SaaS products for Silverline. You will work with incredible colleagues to contribute to a growing incubation team within F5 Networks. The ideal teammate should be passionate, creative, flexible with a strong work ethic and enjoy solving problems. Our team works remotely and is distributed globally, giving you a chance to interact with colleagues from around the world.

Your Day-to-Day

You will utilize your strong coding skills in Golang
Use your deep experience with TDD for writing both unit and functional tests

You will build quality solutions while keeping focus on high availability, scalability, maintainability, and security while working with a stellar DevOps team.
Be part of a team that will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of products and services running in public clouds.
Focus on orchestration, automation, and monitoring of services in any environment.
You would help with architecture/system design builds & documents focusing on workflows and interfaces as well as building and integrating tools to improve automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
You would configure and lead a variety of internally developed and third-party applications and services, across multiple environments
We are a group who participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation
You'll help recommend and maintain technical design methodologies, processes, and standards
We help each other thrive by providing technical mentorship to entry level engineers as well as participate in hiring, on boarding, and training process

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong OO design and coding skills using multiple stacks, and knowledge of the pros and cons of each
2+ years experience with Golang
8+ years application development experience
Strong data design skills, using both SQL and NoSQL data stores
Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins
Experience working with services in a Dockerized environment
Experience with Elasticsearch, Couchbase, Redis, and/or PostgreSQL a plus
Requires 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor s degree; or 6 years and a Master s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
