We are looking for a highly qualified and broadly experienced Lead Aviation Planner to further build our existing strong capability in the Aviation sector. Jacobs business continues to grow to meet the needs of our clients who are investing in this capacity and across the region.

This is a full - time position and this individual will be based in our J acobs India office .

About the opportunity
This position is responsible for preparing, leading and delivering efforts towards master planning and development efforts for an Airport. Position must ensure the best use of organization resources in defining, detailing and delivering planning goals, objectives, for major Aviation programs to meet and exceed the requirements for clients. Position must engage with strategic leadership within client organization and must present modern, creative, compliant, cost effective and pertinent ideas for understanding goals and objectives laid out for a major airport development program from a strategic long term planning perspective, given good balance of the technical, the leadership and the business.
Specific duties include:
  • Lead, develop and deliver master plans and implementation plans for the brownfield, existing and new Greenfield airports
  • Engage as planning leader with stakeholders from various government, airport departments
  • Lead teams of multidisciplinary planners, engineers and designers as necessary to delivery master planning outputs and services
  • Manage unexpected and emergency situations efficiently without letting it affect the work flow
  • Handle or divert additional responsibilities to the competent staff to avoid delay in the project
  • Flexible to relocate and travel as necessary for various programs and project
  • Use MS office toolsets as required to prepare deliverables.
  • Prepared high standard technical memos, functional specifications, project inception documents etc. Guide the team with the rules and policies defined by the regulatory authorities
