Job Description
NIYA Logistics and Aviation Skill Development is a technology based start up based in Bangalore. NIYA has recently been conferred "National Award for Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence - 2019 for Training and Skill Development "category by Confederation of Indian Industry.
NIYA is currently looking for a Technology Expert to become a senior management team for its start up based in Bangalore.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Bachelors / Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of software development experience and significant experience leading large teams
- Excellent analytical ability
- Sound understanding of CS Fundamentals, Data Structures and Algorithms
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design concepts
- Extensive knowledge of common design patterns
- Experience being part of cross functional teams and having participated in end to end product development and having successfully launched products
- Knowledge and experience in instrumentation, metrics and monitoring concepts
- Experience and interest in closely working with business and other leaders in defining the road map of the product, developing the design and implementation plan and developing them
- Experience as a manager of managers
- Strong Customer focus
- Incorporate latest technologies Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Block Chain Technology and Machine Learning
- Create a tech based platform to deliver logistics, supply chain management and aviation courses through online to target large number of audiences / trainees.
Required Candidate profile
- Strong quantitative Skills and Customer Focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a highly iterative, agile and open team environment
- Participate in the technology governance of the company by constituting and partaking in technology steering committees
- Drive development and maintenance of Information Security policies and IT policies and procedures to ensure firm objectives are achieved and risks are controlled
- Drive the development of and maintenance of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity policies for the company
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of the entire IT infrastructure keeping a view on changing and growing business requirements by planning adequately to meet current and future demand
- Engineering (Software Development):
- Work with the business teams, product management team and users to understand and define the vision for product platform and lead all aspects of software development
- Co-create a roadmap for development of the platform balancing short-term feature/project requirements with long term strategic initiatives and managing technical debt
- Define and oversee the development of the technical architecture of all major software including the primary product platform
- Define and oversee adherence to policies and processes for business teams to engage with the engineering team for development of new features, production issues, customer/stakeholder feedback and larger projects and get them developed and delivered
- -Drive the development of, maintenance of and adherence to software development life cycle processes
- Inculcate a culture of agile execution amidst ambiguous, changing product requirements and aggressive timelines
- Define and develop the organizational structure that is well positioned to deliver on the company's software needs and requirements
- Should have hands on experience in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Block Chain Technology
- B.E / B Tech Informational Technology / Computer Science / Information Science graduates can apply with prior experience in developing technology based learning platforms.

- The incumbent should be preferably between 25-30 years. (Upper Age Limit is 30 Years)
