Job Description

Experience : 6 - 8 years (Relevant experience in Java and Selenium)

Job Location : Pune

Key Responsibilities

• • Must be able to identify how his test teams align within an organization and how the team would achieve the roadmap identified for the project and the organization.
  • Needs to identify the scope of the testing required for a particular release based on the requirements of the document
  • Must identify the required metrics and work to have them in place. These metrics could be an inherent goal for the test team
  • Must identify the testing effort required by calculating the sizing needed for the given release and plan the required effort for the same
  • Customizing Framework functions when needed to enhance automation coverage
  • Providing automation expertise to clients & contributing toward predictable delivery of quality releases
  • Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
  • Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the delivery head
  • Proposing and implementing innovative solutions to resolve automation challenges
  • Analyse & Review Execution Test Reports and Publish his reviews periodically
  • Attending the client calls and meetings

  Skills required

  • Experience of technically leading Test Automation projects both on Web and Mobile automation side
  • Strong testing fundamentals and a seasoned QA professional
  • Hands-on in coding in Java, Selenium, Appium is added advantage
  • Past experience in developing automation frameworks for web, mobile, API
  • Exposure to breadth of automation and QA landscape and popular tools and frameworks including open source tools/frameworks
  • Aware of CI/CD integrations using Jenkins or equivalent
  • Passionate about QA and excellent communicator having ability to engage effectively with Customers, Dev leads, Architects, Senior managers
  • Proven experience in software test automation of Large-Scale Web Applications. Should have experience in designing and developing scripts.
  • Good experience and knowledge of Automation tools and respective environment, which should includeSelenium WebDriver and good java programming knowledge.
  • Good Knowledge in Understanding Selenium Commands
  • Should have good understanding and experience of Manual Testing, related processes and Test Case Automation Readiness preparation.
  • Knowledge of API's is added advantage (Excel, XML...)
  • Good knowledge of database programming using java and good SQL knowledge.
  • Idea in Test Case Prioritization & designing test data properly
  • Debugging and running the Tests
  • The ability to speak and write so as to be clearly understood by others, using appropriate vocabulary, grammar and style. Excellent presentation skills, suitably adapted and targeted to the audience.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies
  • Experience in using other automation tools is added advantage.
  • Understanding of Functional and Regression Test Automation
  • Understanding the DevOps Life Cycle
