Desired Candidate Profile
Job Summary: We are looking for a very sharp UI developer well versed in developing consumer-facing websites using Python, Python based web framework and AngularJS. Experience in cross-browser and cross-device development is also extremely important for this role.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conceives and models user interface prototypes based on collecting user requirements, test cases, and developmental objectives.
- Designs high-level flow diagrams and GUI form charts for use in GUI specifications and architectures.
- Collaborates with business analysts, Web designers, and software developers to ensure prototypes can be efficiently implemented.
- Codes, installs, and debugs user interfaces using appropriate tools or editors
- Refines current GUI style standards, and keeps up to date on emerging GUI standards and trends.
- Identifies, recommends, and prioritizes new user interface features and applications in conjunction with end-user requirements or business needs.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with proprietary or internally-developed user interfaces.
- Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering, preferably in Computer Science/or related fields or Masters, from a premier college
- In-depth knowledge of GUI prototyping tools, software design, web technologies and protocols
- Proven experience in human-computer interaction and usability analysis
- Thorough understanding of application development methodologies
- Proven experience with cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility development issues
- 5+ years experience with the following Python, Django, JavaScript, AngularJS
- Multi-platform OS (Windows/Mac/Linux)
- Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and programming languages
