Job Description
We're looking for a Quality Analyst Lead with a strong background in automated/manual testing , supervisory experience and a good Automation background. Our ideal candidate will be experienced at generating top quality test plans in collaboration with our product teams , and be familiar with techniques on user friendliness and be able to pinpoint where fixes will be needed. This individual must understand all aspects that bring a site together and should understand the following topics at a basic level- navigation: page layout , copy issues , traffic issues , user interaction issues and be able to communication with the developers on all these topics using bug tracking tools.
- Manage and mentor a team of testers to run test cases on numerous projects concurrently
- Create test plans , test scripts and test cases and lead in their execution
- Have a clear idea about the technology and business and offer innovative solutions to improve the current test platform
- Report on usability , playability and identifying any aspects which could be improved within a product
- Contribute to continuous process improvement of the QA department
- Responsible for the full QA Test Life Cycle
- Understand the best practices of web development and work closely with the product and business development teams to suggest ways and means of improving user experience.
- 5+ years QA Automation experience , websites experience a must
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
- Hands on experience with API testing on any of the tools Postman or any other tool
- Hands on experience with Performance testing with Jmeter or Loadrunner or any other tool
- Comfortable teaching the use of manual/automated test tools (Selenium) in practical situations
- Ability to create test plans , scripts and cases and managing the execution
- Current knowledge of information architecture , user behavior , and habits on the web
- Understands best web layout practices (but doesn t need to have a programming background)
- Experienced at pinpointing site bugs , problems , and can provide valuable information for site user experience
- Familiarity with test management tool JIRA
- Familiarity with automation software such as SELENIUM /Katalon studio/QTP
- Analytical and good with reason and logics
- Exceptional follow through and mentoring skills
- Great communication skills with local and offshore teams
