Role and Responsibilities:
Ideal candidate should be technology language agnostic, with programming expertise in OO and strong competencies in data structures, algorithms including software design and architecture.
Hands-on with at least one general programming language such as Java, Ruby, Clojure, Scala, C/C++ and SQL.
Build highly scalable business applications, which involve implementing large complex business flows and deal with huge data including multi-threading and concurrency programming.
Independently develop creative and innovative technology solutions.
Deliver features with high quality, on-time as per project plans and delivery commitments.
Work with team members to manage day-to-day development activities, participate in designs, design review, code review, and implementation and work end to end on 2-3 complex projects simultaneously.
Maintain current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology, always on a lookout for new technologies and work with the team in bringing in new technologies.
Must be able to work with minimum technical supervision and supplemental engineering support, while responding efficiently to multiple program priorities.
Analyzing latest technologies and development trends, to establish/ implement best practices.
Mentor other engineers and foster team spirit.
