Summary:>
Provides support services and training to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:>
include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.

  • Provide Yardi client support and technical issue resolution via Ticket System/Portal, E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium.
  • Create and enhance management reports utilizing Yardi
  • Work with stakeholders and business people to understand business needs, interpret data requirements and perform testing.
  • Support integration to Yardi platform
  • Document, develop, implement, maintain, and deliver training on reporting
    solutions to meet the business needs.
  • Analyze and solve day-to-day challenges with data and analytics/reporting systems including research data and systems issues, resolve and/or prioritize issue
    resolution, proactively identify data quality problems and support solution
    identification and review system performance; identify and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with end-users to gather report requirements and ensure proper testing/validation.
  • Present project status and milestones to management and business supervisors,
    managers, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee source control for report repository.
  • Follows the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Perform DBA duties to SQL Server 2008 production and development databases including adding/deleting user accounts, assigning user rights, partitioning tables, managing disc space, normalizing data, troubleshooting performance issues, and implementing patches.
  • Works with managers to apply data to business goals and analytical requirements
  • Develop and delivery training as related to specific Yardiapplication and business process including preparation of materials, agenda, exercises and test data required.
  • Develop written business functional specifications for Yardi custom reports, custom applications, changes to security and changes to application functionality.
  • Conduct Yardi training and meetings via conference calls, screen sharing (like WebEx), video conferencing and Skype.
  • Properly document client requests and resolutions in ticket system.
  • Traffic, prioritize and route client requests to other internal and external resources.
  • Follow up resources assigned tasks.
  • Stay connected with clients via weekly or monthly status calls.
  • Review time reports from internal and external resources that have provided services on assigned tasks.
  • Manage the Ticket System toolset for reports, requests and system data.
  • Train clients and internal and external resources in Ticket System

The Ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:

  • Strong written communications skills in English.
  • Strong keyboard skills.
  • Proficiency in Yardi
  • Strong application analytic technical skills.
  • Ability to deliver training via screen sharing (WebEx like applications) with confidence and clarity.
  • Ability to delivery services via telephone and support verbal directions with clear and details written follow up.
  • Personal and professional demeanor.
  • Internet browsing and email skills.
  • Internet research skills.
  • Problem solving and analytic skills.
  • Application or technical support experience.
  • Experienced in the development of training agenda, and functional specifications.
  • An understanding of the following business functions
    • Basic Commercial and Residential Lease administration
    • Basic Job Cost
    • Basic bookkeeping (i. e. General Ledger postings, AP processing, AR processing)
  • Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls, Zen Desk and other electronic communications.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
  • Experience with software issues.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

Minimum typing proficiency: 25 wpm.
