Job Description

Account Manager is responsible for the management and generation of business in the assigned accounts in his region. The account manager will be responsible to manage around 25-30 accounts in his region.

He will be required to visit all the accounts on a monthly basis to ensure that there is continuous engagement with the stakeholders at all the schools.

He will be responsible for the relationship with the school, smooth execution of the program at the school, year on year renewals and improving the revenue from the identified accounts.

Identifies and evaluates business opportunities by keeping an eye out for best practices that will enable the key accounts team to keep consumers satisfied.

Implements sales strategies that lead to high consumer satisfaction, hence, building awareness and credibility with the key clients.

He will also take part in the account planning process in which departmental financial targets, performance objectives, account management standards, and critical milestones over specific periods of time are decided upon.

Handling cancellations or changes in sales order and communicating the changes with the related departments.

The Account Manager will play an analytical role where he/she prepares detailed proposals/quotes depending on each consumer's requirements while addressing specific customization requirements as per business feasibility.

He will serve as contact point for all customers and internal teams and resolve customers complaints in an effective and respectful way. Gather, report and communicate customers feedback on service, technology and product delivery. Measure, track and analyze key account metrics and create key account health reports for management review.

The role is highly collaborative in nature, with the Key Account Manager closely working with the program management, training, technology and customer support departments in an effort to meet account performance objectives as well as the accounts expectations through complimentary cross-functional efforts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
A Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3 years of sales OR education experience
Passion for growing a new territory
Excellent relationship building skills
Oral and written communication and ability to communicate sensitive and/or complex information in a confidential and straightforward manner.
Must be accurate and detail oriented.
Ability to problem solve and handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Team player mentality
Displays high level of personal and professional integrity
Passion and drive
Growth mindset
Experience in EdTech is a huge plus!
