Roles and Responsibilities :

Lawyers must have extensive skills, knowledge and domain expertise in PE & VC transactions. Relevant experience would be in reputed law firms or PE/VC Funds.Additional experience in taxation, funds and other legal issues under PE/VC deals would be preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Structuring, documentation, execution, completion of transactions and regulatory compliances.
• Advising on regulatory compliances under Foreign Exchange Control laws, tax laws, securities laws in coordination with local offshore lawyers.
• Handling both sides- Investors and Targets Perspectives.
• Strategizing of PE/VC investments.
• Advising on corporate and commercial issues relating to PE/VC transactions.
• Drafting of complex commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Strong ability to demonstrate negotiation and advocacy skills and hands-on experience in negotiations on commercial/ legal clauses in contracts.
• Handling contract disputes, including coordinating in dispute resolution.
• Coordinating with other teams and departments to provide a wholesome advice to the clients on PE/VC deals.
