Roles and Responsibilities

1. WCS & WMS Integration: -

One of the challenges facing by maintenance shift Incharge is to understand the integration of warehouse control system (WCS) & ware house management system (WMS) for smooth operation of ASRS system.

2. Spare Parts Management: -

Being a unique system in industry, ASRS system has a very expansive & customises parts. Hence local development & alternate sourcing is biggest key challenge.

1. Customise equipment: -

Customise equipments i.e. Uni- shuttles, stacker cranes & conveyors (6.5 KM) are key challenge to maintain as these are running on multi-layer networks.

4. Coordination of work teams: -

While maintenance has a primary focus on physical assets and the associated technological/ technical elements thereof, maintenance execution is a people driven process that requires the right balance between process, technology support and leadership.
