LOOKING For Networking (Security/Routing/Switching)
3 - 8 years
Hyderabad/Secunderabad
5-8 years of relevant professional experience in a large, diverse, network/server environment
Bachelor-level degree in Engineering, Information technology, data communications, telecommunications, computer science, or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
CCIE (CISCO), CCSE (Check Point), JNCIE (Juniper), PCNSE (Palo Alto), CISSP (preferred) and similar industry certifications preferred
Ensure that adequate and effective operational processes and controls are followed and aligned to deliver compliance with availability, performance and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience with architecting and deploying network and security technologies in large cloud and virtualized environments.
Experience working with Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
Hands-on experience on implementing Security controls on public cloud platforms.
Work proficiently with routers, switches, multiplexors, modems, transceivers, and wireless access points. Creating router and switching configurations and should be very knowledgeable of Cisco command line instructions.
Design practices of layer-4/7 firewalls (Cisco, Check Point and Palo Alto) and load balancers (Cisco and F5).
Solid understanding of advanced networking technologies, virtualization technologies, and solutions including MPLS, virtual route forwarding, virtual device contexts, multicast routing, policy-based routing, ether-channel, traffic-shaping, load balancing, WAN Optimization, etc.
Deep comprehension of networking concepts including network design principles, data flow determination, routing, switching, VLANs, IP addressing, etc.
Hands on experience with designing network segmentation architecture DMZ, Zoning, VXLAN, VRF, etc.
Fully competent in performing TCP/ IP subnetting using a variety of masks. Have to be experienced in maturely using EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, GRE tunnels, IPSec, SSL, VPN (site-to-site and user), HSRP, DHCP, QoS, CoS, priority queuing, trunking, and other data communication protocols.
Recommend on schedule (where appropriate), security patches, disaster recovery procedures, and any other measures required in the event of an outage or security breach.
Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of security enhancement and Service development efforts.
General Expectations:
Excellent analytical skills and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation). As well as the ability to effectively convey information security concepts and requirements to a non - technical audience, including both internal and client - facing engagements.
Ability to chart ones own career and build networks within the organization
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and raise concerns/questions where appropriate
Interact with clients on a regular basis through face to face interactions / video conferences / teleconferences/ mails to understand clients processes and business problems
Manage projects or project modules independently
Industry Knowledge Expectations (Preferred)
Awareness of industry trends, challenges, technology adoption levels and solution landscape
2-4 years with Single industry focus
One life cycle project execution experience in recommending and/or implementing Cloud solutions for improving business outcomes.
