Job Description
A reputed IT company is hiring for Network administrator in Chennai
Exp:3+yrs
Location: chennai
NP:Immediate
JD:
Responsible for Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of network products like Router, switches, load balancers etc. (CISCO and JUNIPER Routers and switches)
Regular IOS updatation and hotfixes
Responsible for implementing best practice/hardening.
Regular changes in Network devices as per the requirements
Managing and monitoring of log files of network devices
Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations (Around 60 devices)
Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues in CISCO and Juniper Routers and Switches.
Liaise with Customers , vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Sending the Network Status Reports to higher management on daily basis.
Monitoring the P2P Links between location Mumbai (DC) to Chennai DR, Mumbai to Market places and Mumbai to Pathalganga if any issues on the link call log with Respective vendor to fix the issue.(Around 20 Links)
Troubleshooting any issue with Static route on the CISCO /Juniper Routers.
Based on the customer requirement ,Need to configure the Routers and Switch along with proper Approvals.
Need to Monitor the DR devices (Routers, Switch, Firewall, Servers and storage's) ad if any issues/Amber with devices Need to inform to the respective team to fix that issue if required call log with respective vendor to fix the issue.
Ensure to check the Network devices AMC and inform customer for extension of the AMC.
Based on the customer requirement, Need to add New static ip route on the router so its required good Subnet mask knowledge.
