Job Description
Responsibilites
1. Develop state- of- the- art 3D vision- based robotic applications (e.g., 3D part inspection, 3D robotic vision guidance, etc.) as part of a small, high performance software development team.
2. Develop algorithms to analyze and integrate data from dense 3D point clouds from various sensors.
3. Develop applications for quality control for common engineering practices.
4. Develop bar- code reading applications
algorithm implementation using C, C , or C# (.NET framework) .
A solid engineering background with hands- on experience developing robotics and/ or vision systems.
Understanding of and experience with any of the following: 3D object recognition, real- time machine vision and its application for control of robotic system, pattern recognition, sensor alignment and calibration.
Strong analytical skills and solid mathematical foundation.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
Ability to build/ assemble/ modify electronic assemblies or robots into various configurations for test purposes.
