Job details-

Your role:

As a Senior Software Engineer who is part of our development team, you will be responsible for adding new enhancements to our product, including new functionality and fixes from our customer requests and product roadmap. In addition, you will also being working on non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and stability improvements.

As a member of a scrum team, you will be required to work closely with fellow software and QA engineers, to ensure that quality software releases are delivered on time.

Key skills:

• Minimum bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer in Java programming language developing RESTful web services.
• Proven experience in product development organizations
• Very strong Java experience, including Object-Oriented principals.
• Very comfortable working with complex data structures and design patterns.
• Experience writing unit (JUnit) or other automated tests.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• At least one year experience in the implementation and maintenance of Openstack
• Exposure to Openstack Networking
• Exposure to the usage and configuration of VNF (Open and Vendor specific)
• Experience in any commercial NFV product (Cisco, Juniper, Versa)
• Experience in Telecom service provider specifically in the networking domain of Telecom
• Understanding of public clouds will be an added advantage
• Experience in the implementation and maintenance of ETSI MANO standards will be an added advantage
• Experience using Confluence, JIRA, Git.
• Knowledge of JSON and XML formats is a must.
• Very strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
• Comfortable working in a scrum team with local and remote team mates. Must be a team player.
• Willing to own solutions from definition through to production.
• Must understand the basic non-functional requirements like scalability, performance, redundancy, high availability.
• Must be familiar with Shell or Bash scripting.

Nice to have skills:

• Experience using build tools like Ant and Gradle.
• Experience building REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience of Application Servers and Web servers e.g., JBoss, Wildfly, Tomcat, Jetty.
• Experience using PHP or Python.
• Hands-on experience using Postgres and/or Oracle.

Very comfortable with Linux and DevOps tools and best practices

CTC 10 to 12 LPA
