Job Description
-4 to 8 years of DevOps experience with deep knowledge of Kubernetes both in the Data center and on the cloud
-Deep understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipeline architecture (Jenkins, Drone, GitLab) including deployments into Kubernetes environments using tools such as Flux or Keel
Architect multi-region Kubernetes clusters supporting multi-tenant environment
Expert in micro services architecture with emphasis on converting monoliths to microservices
Experience in setting up HA/Cluster enabled services like Spark, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka
Experience in API Gateway/Reverse Proxy like Apigee, NGINX, Azure Application Gateway
Extensive experience automating system tasks and infrastructure using a scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell)
Experience with configuration management and infrastructure orchestration tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Helm, Istio
Experience with service registry and discovery tools like Consul and Vault, etcd and automated imaging tools like Packer
Experience in Virtualization, Disaster Recovery, Backup and Security Processes
Experience in using security tools (BlackDuck, Veracode, Synopsys, SonarQube)
Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Newrelic), log aggregation systems (ELK, Splunk, Stackdriver), and their agents
Required Candidate profile
4 to 8 years of DevOps experience
Strong familiarity with JIRA, SCM/GIT including branching and merging strategies
Knowledge in OpenShift platform for application deployment
Knowledge in Netflix OSS is an added advantage ( Eureka, Zuul and Config server)
Understanding of operational principles, such as capacity planning, monitoring and incident handling
