Job Description
Cadence Design Systems is looking for a highly motivated software engineer to work in the Genus and Innovus database team in the digital design implementation business unit. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging and supporting database infrastructure. Development responsibilities will include data-model enhancement, database enhancement, performance enhancement, and API/Class definition enhancement.
Position Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
MS or BS with 2 years of experience, in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
Knowledge in IC design data model, database architecture, efficient data access algorithms
Proficient in C/C++
Proficiency with Tcl scripting is a plus.
Excellent programming and software engineering skills
Experience with UNIX and/or LINUX platforms is preferred
