In this role, you will:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications, US:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Role and Responsibility
Design, develop key features for a distributed grid compute platformusing akka and advanced concurrency
features of Java. Role requires an excellent understanding of the concepts, challenges and tradeoffs in
distributed computing: latency vs. throughput; scalability, resiliency, scheduling strategies.
Troubleshoot complex issues (e.g. failed tasks in a grid)
Role requires a very good understanding of distributed databases (e.g. HBase and Apache Ignite)
Implement sourcing of market/reference data into our DataFabric. Develop native pricing models.
Develop features to onboard realtime and EOD risk for FX, Rates, and spread businesses. Assist withEnhanced risk calculations.
In addition to feature development and bug fixes, investigate and resolve L2/L3 production issues

Essential Qualification
Bachelor Degree with 9+ years of development experience using languages such as Java, C++ or Python. This
includes full life cycle development and understanding of application development methodologies, as well as
experience in a 3-tier application environment.
Demonstrated Object-Oriented Design (OOD)/Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills;
Expertise in multithreaded application development, grid computing, messaging
- Excellent understanding of VaR and Expected shortfall methodologies.
- Solid understanding of basics of derivatives
Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or
redesign complex computer platforms and applications.
- Should have good knowledge of Java, Multithreading , Spring .

Desired Qualification
Understanding of Capital Markets and OTC derivative products; exposure to risk engine development or
experience with front office trading applications development.
Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end delivery of significant features in a complex system
