Job Description


Designation : Manager - Human Resources

1. Responsible to conduct the recruitment process for staff Selection and Placement - to be responsible for first interview and initial screening of suitable candidates for further interview with concerned department.
2. Responsible for ensuring proper time keeping by maintaining accurate records of staff attendance, on a daily basis of all on rolls & outsourced / contract employees.
3. Responsible to ensure staff discipline and to take necessary action against misbehaving staff, supervision of staff attitude and attire, etc.
4. Responsible to compile statistics, reports, survey and other MIS reports daily or monthly.
5. Responsible to follow up on probation, training, confirmation, etc., and complete the documentation for the same, to be handed over to employees on the due date, and not later.
6. Responsible to conduct routine checks on staff behavior, wearing of nametags, staff I.D. cards, proper attire and taking disciplinary action when required.
7. Responsible to ensure compliance to all process and in turn ensure minimal audit queries, with responses within the framework and time frame.
8. Responsible to ensure all statutory compliances and rules stipulated for the multiplex are being adhered and to notify department heads concerned if necessary.
9. Responsible to conduct exit interview for staff, and to coordinate for other exit interviews with the Unit Manager.
10. Responsible to participate/contribute in organizing and implementing organizational-wise education and training activities.
11. Responsible to make recommendations and to contribute ideas in designing training programs for each department, or to conduct training activities with Unit Manager.
12. Responsible to assist with the administrative work.
13. Responsible for timely completion of joining formalities and the induction process for all new joinees in the system.
14. Responsible to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of personal information to which he has access or for which he is responsible, subject to any legal requirements and the best interests of the staff.
15. Responsible to maintain the minimum required manning in all departments at the Unit.
16. Responsible to keep the wage cost within the budgeted guidelines keeping the revenue in consideration.
17. Responsible to collate the attendance details and ensure timely submission so that salary is disbursed on time. (both on rolls and out sourced employees)
18. Responsible to follow up on correspondence for health cards and personal data forms on a periodic basis.
19. Responsible to keep all personal data files updated.
20. Responsible to maintain a record of all staff welfare expenses and to ensure that all staff welfare facilities are in working condition and are utilized optimally.
21. Responsible to design and maintain duty roasters.
22. Responsible to consider and maintain applications for leave requests.
23. Responsible to roll out the annual appraisal process as per the defined guidelines.

3 to 6 years plus of experience in Human Resources Generalist role.

Qualification MBA / Bachelors Degree in Human Resources.

Reporting to Senior Regional Manager/ Regional Manager Human Resources.
