QA Test Automation Engineer:
To implement CICD automated testing of web, api, and mobile applications in agile SDLC process.
Responsibilities:
As a QA Test Automation Engineer, you will work closely with the QA, Development, and DevOps teams, and contribute substantially to building high quality software applications. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as good time management will help you to fulfill the tasks that include:
Review solution requirements, design specifications, and other technical documents
Design, develop and maintain automated test plan, test scenarios, and test cases
Test all aspects of the product/system (functional & non-functional tests)
Identify and select test cases that can be automated
Implement automation test cases based on project source code structure and tech stacks
Set up test environments, test data, databases, and automation pipelines
Monitor test outcomes and establish steps to remedy problems
Track bugs, analysing and documenting problems and test reports
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Execute manualautomated regression tests and features validation
Contributing improvements to internal processes and test procedures
Constantly review existing test approach, test strategy, test coverage to find and apply improvement opportunities in these areas, through observation from uat/production incidents/issues, previous testing assignments. Share the best practice and lesson learnt with the rest of the team
Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Development and Support teams
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a related field.
Previous experience as a test automation engineer.
Proficient in programming tech stacks: CICD, Git, GitlabJenkins, Docker, Java, Spring boot, JUnit, Angular, Typescript, Maven, Ant, SQL, Shell Script
Familiar with automation test tools: Selenium, Appium, Protractor, Jest, JMeter, Load Runner, and other similar tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly accurate and detail oriented
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Advantages
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and tools.
Experience and knowledge in QA tools and cloud technologies.
Experience in Microservices and Kubernetes automation test
