Roles and Responsibilities
JD- Hardware Lead- Hardware Lead
- Hardware Baseband
- Experience with schematic design capture tools (e.g., OrCAD/Allegro Schematic Capture)
- General understanding of 3GPP cellular specifications (PTCRB, GCF)
- Experience and understanding of Radio Access Technologies (RAT) like, GSM, LPWA, 3G, LTE, 5G FR1 and 5G FR2
- Experience of communication interfaces like UART, SPI, USB2, USB3.0/3.1, PCIE gen3/gen4 and others
- Experience in product current optimizations for low battery drain, especially in LPWA modems
- Experience in product thermal design and testing and the impacts to the modem and customer products
- Experience in hardware test and validation over temperature and identifying major test items
- Experience in Power Distribution Network (PDN) Simulation and PCB design tradeoffs (e.g., Cadence Sigrity Power SI and Power DC)
- Experience and understanding of WWAN Qualcomm chipsets (like MDM9230, MDM9206, MDM9207, MDM9250, SDX12, SDX55, SDX62/5)
- Experience and understanding of WWAN Sony (Altair) chipsets (likeALT1210, ALT1250, ALT1350)
- Hardware Radio (RF)
- Experience with schematic design capture tools (like OrCAD/Allegro Schematic Capture)
- Experience and understanding of 3GPP cellular RF specifications (PTCRB, GCF)
- Experience and understanding of Radio Access Technologies (RAT), GSM, LPWA, 3G, LTE, 5G FR1 and 5G FR2
- Experience in RF PA and FEM (Front End Module) matching - Simulation and on bench work
- Experience in test and validation over temperature and identifying major test items
- Experience and understanding of WWAN Qualcomm chipsets (like MDM9230, MDM9206, MDM9207, MDM9250, SDX12, SDX55, SDX62/5)
- Experience and understanding of WWAN Sony (Altair) chipsets (like ALT1250, ALT1350)
- Understanding of Country regulatory emissions requirements and troubleshooting (FCC, RED, +others)
- Experience and understanding of cellular carrier RF requirements and troubleshooting (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, Telstra, Orange, and others)
