Job Description

Design using Autodesk Inventor to create new CAD models and detailed mechanical drawings
Support the implementation of engineering change orders (ECO) using Autodesk Professional Vault PDM
Ensure compliance with required design standards, design manuals, safety factors, geometric tolerance, customer specifications, engineering specifications and marketing standards.
Evaluate tolerance stack-ups to insure proper fit of components and application of GD&T techniques
Interact with Sales / Account managers to capture customers requirements and translate into Design inputs
Design & Develop with OEM / competitors PDF drawings as the basis and model a near fit CAD models

Experience in Autodesk Inventor is preferred, though professionals with software design tools can also apply

Most of the work and interaction within team and clients are done through collaboration tools, therefore excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with International counterparts and clients is essential part of job responsibility
