Job Description

  • Develop and drive implementation and execution of effective long and short-term marketing strategies to establish and ensure continuous and sustained competitive advantage and success of assigned products portfolio.
  • Develop clear, well-communicated vision and strategies for assigned products that can be translated to effective marketing and sales plan.
  • Ensure that development and design of innovative promotional campaigns and business activities comply with relevant, acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
  • Optimize allocation of all resources to brands through active assessment of return of investment.
  • Formulate strategic, marketing and tactical plans for current and future products launches within the franchise through effective brands, operational, forecast and budget plans to ensure sales, profitability and market share targets are achieved.
  • Responsible for overseeing market surveys/Research and sales trends reviews while effectively utilizing available market intelligence tools (IMS, SMSRC, Internal MIS reports etc.) to identify purchase patterns, sales performance and market dynamics.
  • To evaluate effectiveness of marketing strategies, campaigns and medical experts development through regular field visits and customers engagements.
  • To achieve targets for sales, grow market share, profit contribution and market penetration for all assigned product/s (i.e. entire portfolio P&L)
  • Regular fieldwork with representatives, monitoring marketing plans (brand plans), identifying opportunities and gaining market intelligence
  • To maintain and improve product knowledge of the sales force and sales managers and to continually update knowledge on the product, competitors and market.
  • Ensure continuous collaboration with all functions and divisions namely sales, and technical team; to ensure effective conceptualization and implementation of sales, marketing and market access plans for all strategic brands.
  • Provide marketing and competitive knowledge on products to the field force.
  • Active participation in lectures, seminars, symposiums etc. to enhance product and organization image.
  • Liaise and coordinate with various internal support functions and external agencies to ensure appropriate inventory management.
Requirements
Education/Qualification: BSc/ B Pharma with MBA/ PGDM- Marketing.
Has about 10 years of experience in Product Management in the pharma, medical devices, healthcare industry with proven track record.
Experience working in a matrix and managing diverse stakeholders, including external stakeholders.
Excellent influencing, networking, presentation, and communication skills.
Possesses good analytical skills and a strategic mind-set.
