The Opportunity

Adobe's Experience & Engagement Innovation team is looking for a Web UX Designer for our help and learning website. In this role, you'll work closely with writers, team leads, product managers, and data analysts, to co-develop and execute experience and visual design strategies for Creative Cloud and Document Cloud documentation.
Your work will help millions of customers in connecting, learning, gaining inspiration, and resolving their issues, wherever they are in their Adobe journey!What you'll Do

You'll use user-centered design methods to build industry-standard user experiences-from concept to execution. You'll collaborate with the partners to leverage, evolve and develop experiences to aid our customer journeys.

• Work on visual design and experience design tasks in alignment with Adobe Design and Brand guidelines.
• Create and iterate on ideas in order to develop them, via storyboards, user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes.
• Deliver outstanding visuals, animation, and article experiences to support product releases.
• Be an advocate for the user. Work creatively around exciting business and technical areas to maintain customer satisfaction
• Align with the goals, customer insights, analytics, and market study to identify unseen opportunities to drive innovations.
• Support engineering teams throughout the implementation cycle.

What you need to succeed

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a design-related field, with an emphasis on user experience, interaction designs, or visual communication.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, information architect, visual designer, or similar.
• Portfolio of work demonstrating UX and visual design. This should also include the approach and the process.
• The ability to provide detailed specifications and/or optimized prototypes for our engineering team.
• Proficiency in working across design practices and design systems across mobile, web, and other devices.
• Adept at qualitative research, including customer interviews, to identify process improvements and new opportunities.
• Excellent understanding of fundamental design principles with a deep understanding of information design, typography, layout, color theory, composition, and information hierarchy.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.
• Excellent communication problem-solving skills, attention to detail, with a dedicated approach.
• Accustomed to working across multiple time zones and with colleagues of diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to meet deadlines, deliver under timelines, adapt quickly to change, and think holistically about the solutions.
