Role Description
This position is responsible for the design and development of systems, sub-systems, components and solutions
for various electro mechanical systems under aerospace and defense sector. Candidate should be able to design
and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development. Candidate should be able to carry out
simulation of system / subsystem / parts and familiar with various simulation tools such as Ansys Workbench
and Nastran, Hyper-mesh. Candidate should able to prepare Job Assembly Plan / Work instruction for building
Various Test systems / sub-systems. Candidate should be able to work closely with PCB layout engineer in-terms
of data exchange between ECAD and MCAD.
Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective
means to improve products, techniques and procedures.

Core Responsibilities & Duties
Essential
- Hands-on experience in design and development of electro-mechanical systems such as LRUs and Cockpit panels in compliance to MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461
- Experience in design and develop various test equipment's such as ATEs and Test Jigs
- Excellent skills in any or more than one of 3D design tools viz. SolidWorks, CATIA V5 and NX
- Experience in Technical documentation , BOM preparation and fabrication drawing preparation
- Experience in Engineering Change Note (internal / external) and analyzing the impact on the program
- Knowledge on qualification methods of Military Standards MIL-Std-704 / MIL-Std-461 / MIL-Std-810
- knowledge on ASME drafting standards and GD & T
- Knowledge on FMEA
- Exhibit significant in-depth knowledge on Components, Key Characteristics of parts, processes, techniques, methodologies, tools and equipment used with an enhanced focus on cost, safety, quality. Implements industry standards, best practices within the domain.
- Demonstrate ability and flexibility to manage multiple and significantly complex projects, RFPs independently with high level of autonomy and accountability for results.
- Experience in design simulation using Ansys, Nastran and Hyper-Mesh
- Exposure to ESS, SOFT and Qualification Tests at Card level and Unit level.
- Knowledge on AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management System

Preferred educational qualification:
- Graduate in B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Aeronautical Engineering or related fields
- Strong engineering experience in Electro mechanical design and development
- Component selection, Interface design for Test Jig/Test Rigs, ATEs
- In-depth knowledge of aerospace standards and panels manufacturing process
- Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA
- 3 to 6 years in Aerospace, Defense, Automotive or Industrial applications
- Minimum 2+ years relevant experience
- Highly self-motivated person and takes complete ownership of activities.
- Should exhibit poise and grace at all times.
- Must have a balanced mix of IQ as well as EQ.
- Must be able to multi-task and deliver with conviction.
- Must be creative and innovative
