Program Manager II - Hyderabad / Secunderabad @ Microsoft

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a seasoned, passionate individual, a Program Manager to drive the Customer Management aspects for the expanding arsenal of Azure offerings.
• As the Capacity Program Manager, you will be working directly with customers to help them plan, fulfill, operate, and optimize their Azure resource usage, partner with engineering, infrastructure, marketing, field, vendors, and customers to drive capacity optimization across Azure datacenters worldwide to ensure best customer experience in consuming Azure resources.
• Your ability to discuss the problem space at great technical depth and explore potential solutions with teams you interface with, and maintain trusted relationships with these engineering partners, is essential for your success.
• Working with engineering counterparts in building the systems we need for decision making, developing customer and region-specific levers, and supporting processes to aid in managing the increasing customer demand, working with customers in an advisory role and helping them optimize, helping build high fidelity analytics that help in faster and accurate decision making, are all major aspects of this role.
• Your deep empathy for customer needs for capacity is an essential element in our ability to overcome obstacles by championing the appropriate business needs and in our ability to deliver to a world class Net Satisfaction (NSAT), High Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), 100% Customer Fulfillment Reliability (CFR) metric, Enabling First Day Resolution (FDR) efficiencies and greatly reducing Customer Pain Time (CPT) metrics that the org considers to be the mantra.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of technical and business experience in the following or related areas: customer management, program management, people management, customer and partner communications and cloud capacity management
• 3+ years of demonstrated ability to engage with customers and partners to understand their business needs and priorities
• 3+ years of strong program management experience delivering high quality work on time along with leadership and people management experience
• BA/BS degree required in engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts
• Deep understanding of cloud services, usage scenarios and implementations. Experience working in or with cloud engineering teams preferred
• Display a strong improvement orientation that continually looks at how to improve processes and work approaches
• Knowledge of development practices to consume data from a variety of interfaces to light up custom business scenarios and strong problem-solving skills
• Proven success working in a complex environment and across a diverse set of business, engineering, and operational stakeholders
• An attention to detail with self-discipline and a drive for results
• Proven track record of design and technical accomplishment in solving business problems at scale.
