Job Description

Responsibilities   The principal role of this position is to coordinate all metal flow out of the cast house Key aspects of the roll will be to complete the shipping plan, coordinate the trucks, vans and railcar based on the shipping schedule This position is responsible for selecting product for shipment, preparing documentation for all shipments, coordinating special customer requirements and securing the appropriate transportation equipment  This includes not only finished goods shipments, but also the shipment of scrap and dross Prepares documentation for shipments and maintains associated files Performs load set up and paperwork for shipping Orders trucks through Best Transport and completes and distributes daily shipping schedule Traces equipment through direct communication with carriers Supervises daily shipping process and reports any major issues Prepares hazardous, export, and dross paperwork for shipments Maintains dross records and prepares associated reports Reviews sales order and selects appropriate product for shipment Collaborate with Shipping Gate Security regarding carrier issues Handle requests from customer service representatives Communicates with Railroad to coordinate inbound and outbound loads and prepares vital paperwork Coordinates daily work schedule of hourly employees shift supervisors     Interested candidates are required to send their resume to: hidden_email
