Job Description
In this role, you will design and deliver solutions for enabling location services on complex data sets. You will work with the team and stake holders across the company to understand the business direction.
- You will design and deliver highly scalable software with high quality and timeliness.
- You will develop key features for location services product initiatives
- You will contribute to technical architecture of multiple complex systems
- You will document designs and architecture and review with stakeholders
- You will scope and help prioritize feature request with Principal Engineer Management
- You will drive continuous improvements with the teams processes
- You will proactively identify and resolve technical risks and issues that may impair the teams ability to deliver
- You will have an opportunity to have noticeable impact on the performance of all critical components of the services
To be successful in this role, youll have much of the following:
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or related fields
- Solid 5-8 years of software development experience in Core Java.
- Passion for cloud technologies
- Proven track record of having designed and deployed large scale low latency cloud based systems
- Experience with Microservices Architecture
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, Spark, Splunk, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, iPass, Grafana, Prometheus, NGNIX.
- Strong with algorithms data structures
- Amazing analytical abilities and a gifted problem solver, besides being a good communicator
