Senior Software Engineer - Systems @ CitiusTech

Your key responsibilities include:

• Provide excellent System Support services in Linux systemand network administration
• Respond and address monitoring tickets and proactivelymonitor client s installations
• Prioritize your workload based on established SLA andtransfer tickets to proper department when required
• Analyze and troubleshoot the workflow of a complexintegration of network devices, workstations, and servers
• Log and document all incidents in the ITSM (Service Now) andfix client s problems
• Perform database maintenance using SQL statements
• Edit configuration files on Linux servers or troubleshootapplications on remote workstations running in Microsoft Windows; All the workis done remotely through secure connections
• Stay proactively informed and trained on the following toensure an excellent level of service and expertise: Back-End Architectures , IntelePACS software , 3rd party Integrations
• Willing to work in Rotational shifts
• Knowledge and experience with High Availability, Networking,Clustering, Exchange, VMware, MS Hyper-V, and Security technologies
• Working experience in Power Shell/Scripting
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices

Education

• Graduate/Engineering Degree -BE / BTech / BCS / Science (IT), / Diploma / MCA / BCA
• Technical Certification inmultiple technologies is desirable

Mandatory Skills

• A minimum of 3 years and maximum5 years of professional work experience in Linux system and networkadministration
• Experience in a customerservice or technical support role
• Excellent communicationskills (Written English is mandatory)
• Remote troubleshooting (SSH,VPN tunnels)
• Microsoft Windows (Basic workstationconfiguration and troubleshooting)
• Practical experience knowledge of SQL databases (Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of a scriptinglanguage (such as Perl, Python, or Shell) is an asset
• Professional technicalexperience in a software development company of medical imaging industry is agreat asset.
