Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Experience in managing a team and providing the managerial and technical leadership for team.
- Also contribute to teams testing/automation effort apart from managing the team.
- Leading all testing initiatives and planning to ensure software releases meet or exceed requirements.
- Well versed in collaboration with other teams and project leaders.
- Independently manage functional testing, regression testing and automated testing for the current systems as well as the new suite of systems in development.
- Good exposure on bug lifecycle and different automation frameworks.
- Proactive and extremely detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Analysing the client requirements.
- Designing test cases, test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
- Executing tests on test/UAT environment.
- Working closely with the development team for closure of bugs and errors.
- Analysing test results and reporting to the development team.
- Selecting or Identifying Areas/Test cases for Automation.
- Choose right Automation tools and Configuring Automation Test Environment.
- Designing & Implementing Test Automation Strategy and Automation Test Plan.
Technical Skills
- Strong programming skills (Python/Java/C#/ Ruby).
- Good understanding of OOPS concepts.
- Possesses hands on experience in Automation tools and technologies (Selenium/Cucumber/IBM RFT/TestComplete/UFT).
- Experience in Automation Framework Design and Implementation.
- Creating, Organizing, and managing Test Automation Resources.
- Creating, Enhancing, debugging, and Running Test Cases.
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools(Azure Dev Ops Boards, Teams, Sharepoint) is a plus.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control tool.
- Experience in one or more databases (DB2/Oracle/SQL server).
- Experience in executing complex SQL queries.
- Good to have understanding of Data warehousing concepts and ETL process.
- Experience in ETL testing is a plus.
