Job Description
Urgent Opening for Embedded Testing Developer & Embedded Testing Lead for Leading Manufacturing company in Chennai
Position - Embedded Test Developer & Embedded Test Lead - 2 Openings for each position
Job Location - Chennai
Minimum 3 to 12 years of experience in Embedded Testing can apply
- Responsible for developing the hardware / embedded software/firmware test cases for existing, in development and new designs.
- Interfacing with the customer to come out with test cases relevant to the context and the application
- Establishing system / Maintenance of code in repository using revision control tools.
- Building and managing a team of engineers to develop and execute the test plans
- Create/review/update test plans.
- Primary interface between the test team and SW development community
- Act as experts and guide the team with technical direction and technical issues.
- Develop processes and tools required for bench and system validation function
- Understand and verify that the correct test methodology is being used for testing
- Guide and train the team in terms of how to write efficient test cases, review test cases, and suggest improvements
- Review the test cases written by the team and ensure that the team is writing test cases correctly and the objectives are getting met
- Experience in leading minimum of one project (Automotive Domain)
- Experience in system test, HiL system (manual/automated)
- Experience in various CAN & LIN Protocol & tools (CANoe, CANalyser, etc)
- Hands-on experience in test design, test specification, and execution of test cases
- Proficiency with standard engineering tools
- Strong analytical and debugging skills & Communication skill
- Knowledge of ISO26262
- Sound skills in embedded coding on micro-controllers / DSPs
- Experience in multipole SDLC and STLC
- Good knowledge and experience in test protocols (UNIT / Module / White Box / Black Box / SIL /HIL / Smoke / etc)
- Basic knowledge in embedded hardware & testing
- Substantial experience in Requirements Based Test Generation, Model based Testing, design verification.
- Knowledge and work experience in automotive software standards and safety standards
- Knowledge and experience in control system preferred
- Mentor and train the SW and HW testing team
- Communication Protocols ( LIN , CAN ,SPI,UART)
