Technical Project Manager - Ahmedabad @ Accel Frontline

WHO YOU ARE
You are passionate about technology, have a strong technical background and the ability to design modular scalable web components. You have experience leading large cross-organizational software development projects and have a well-rounded technical background in current web and Micro-service technologies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will assist in the product management of the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and post production support.

• Earn Trust - Engage with many internal IN-Gauge teams, evangelizing the team and your products, building relationships and helping identify existing components and technologies that can be leveraged to deliver on our goals
• Deliver Results - Build and maintain a comprehensive project schedule, make it visible to management and key stakeholders, and drive the project through to completion
• Ownership - Build software solutions and APIs that provide long-term value for AWS as a whole.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT

• Collaborate seamlessly across teams to track complex project dependencies, mitigate risks and issues, build clear lines of communication, and ensure transparency about status
• Partner with engineering and product management to help define a strategic roadmap and deliver on business objectives and key metrics
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget

Job Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Engineering
• Project Management / Software Engineering experience
• Senior Level PM experience
• 5 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in SW engineering and project management
• Experience in Agile SW development principles
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
• A clear track record of making a difference in the projects you drive
• Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
• Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of product development processes
• Detailed project tracking and track record of meeting deliverables
• Experience interfacing with operations team, vendors and contractors
• Strong engineering / technical background
