Full Stack Developer

In the role, you will focus on developing robust APIs which can scale and developing user interfaces, which interact with our client applications in a stable, intuitive and secure way. You will work in a DevOps mindset owning end to end responsibility of your work and leverage high degree of automation. You will work with agile multi-geography teams working on different layers of the platform and infrastructure, hence collaborative problem solving and quality product is key for this role.
We are looking for:
Engineering Graduates or Postgraduates with 3-7 years of experience in software development.
Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Node.JS and ES6 or ECMA 2015 (must have).
Knowledge of frameworks such as Express (Router set-up), Strong Loop, etc.
Knowledge and understanding of Event Loop architecture, promises, Axios, proficiency in REST-ful APIs, Node Debugging.
Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, Node Global variables and In-built libraries (e.g. Immutable.js).
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, etc.
Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as Stylus, SASS etc.
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
Implementation of security and data protection.
Integration of data storage solutions (RDBMS, No SQL DB).
Familiarity with benchmarking and optimization.
Familiarity with front-end build pipeline & tools.
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Agile development experience in fast paced environment; working experience in small teams/pods/squads (highly desired).
Contribution to open source projects or experience working with open-source ecosystems will be a good addition to have.
Strong analytical skills, with a penchant for solving complex programming problems is appreciated. Soft Skills required:
