JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Materials Coordinator II
General Summary: Under guidance from Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, supervising and executing the activities of one or more production areas. Assists in the development of departmental personnel to enhance skills, improve responsiveness.
Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Ensures that departmental goals are achieved by communicating established objectives.
2. Communicates overall organizational directives. Maximizes employee participation to achieve the desired team approach.
3. Ensures that employees are at work on time, actively engaged in their assigned departments and conforming to established safety regulations.
4. Ensures that all company policies are followed.
5. Provides immediate performance feedback, assisting in short-term resolution of emergency situations (e.g., injuries), safety issues, attendance issues, conduct, etc.
6. Ensure that time and attendance for assigned employees is accurate in data collection system.
7. Will need to be able to handle multiple responsibilities at one time and must be able to deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach.
8. Works with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure that departmental goals are achieved.
9. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives.
10. To support PIP saving projects.
11. Ensures 5S in control.
12. Establish policies for cycle counts, Inventory accuracy, material movements and SAP transactions.
13. Determine optimum storage of materials within the warehouse to ensure minimum travel and retrieval times. This includes goods received work in progress and finished goods.
14. Completion of shift reports and hand overing of shift operation to next reliever.

Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or bachelor's degree in related curriculum such as Engineering/Commerce/BCA
Experience: Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience
Skills Required:

• High level of skill and knowledge in Warehouse operations with demonstrated ability to function in a leadership role.
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Preferred proficiency in SAP as it relates to time and attendance, material transactions, etc.
