Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Role and Responsibilities
- Core security (firewalls etc) and networking / Network security.
- Install, configure, manage and troubleshoot Firewalls & VPN, Switches/Routers, and Proxy.
- Configure and troubleshoot Layer2 and Layer 3 protocols.
- Handle Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge Management tickets.
- Managing multi-vendor routers / switches / firewalls.
- Managing all routing protocols.
- Working on LAN and WAN.
- Call Manager L3 Support.
- Regular interaction with end users and senior management.
- Responsible for day to day smooth operations of the IT infrastructure.
- Responsible for Inventory management/Change management/ DMZ / RADIUS Server Management /Firewall Rule Management/ Solution Automation/ SNMP Advanced Configuration & Management/ Network/Data center Forecasting & Planning/ IPS Management and support/ VPN Implementation/ Web Proxy Support
- Identify and diagnose issues and problems of all Desktop, Thinclient, All Model of Printers, Laptop, UPS & networks. Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions, Support problem identification, Advise users on the appropriate course of action, Monitor issues from start to resolution, Escalate, if needed, unresolved problems to a higher level of support, Managing one or more customer service or service desk functions. Acting as a point of contact to support service users and customers reporting issues, requesting information, access, or other services. Delivering customer service through multiple channels including human, phone, email, self-service, and automated. Receives and handles requests for service, following agreed procedures. Promptly allocates calls as appropriate. Logs incidents and service requests and maintains relevant records: Identifies and classifies incident types and service interruptions. Records incidents cataloging them by symptom and resolution. Acts under guidance to record and track reliability data for your services. Systematically interprets user problems and identifies solutions and possible side effects. Uses experience to address user problems and interrogates database for potential solutions. Escalates complex or unresolved incidents. Records and tracks issues from outset to conclusion.

- Is able to work effectively in a supervised environment and is subject to frequent review.
- Is able to work with considerable autonomy over own activities and to take supervisory or (technical) project responsibility on ad-hoc basis.
- Is able to perform a broad range of varied work activities in a wide variety of contexts, some of them complex and non-routine.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- btech, Bca,Bsc, Polytechnic Diploma Degree with Industry experience.
Preferred Skills (Technical)
- Experience in Installation, configuration, managing the all Network and security devices like switches, routers, firewalls, IDS, IPS etc
- CCNA / CCNP / CCSA Certified.
- Data center migration for the Network technologies.
- Voice network technologies.
