Job Description:
Lead Azure Data Architect
- Expertise in Database Architecture and Data Modelling in Azure lake for Data warehousing
- Experience in handling full responsibility projects e.g. Designing large scale data warehousing systems handle large data independently
- Abreast on state-of-the-art development technologies in data warehousing areas
- Knowledge of Data Analytics and Data pipeline
- Knowledge of Azure Data lake Architecture
- Knowledge of connection to other source systems using BODS
- Good knowledge of Data management tools ETL, Data Vault
- Expert in design Highly performance and maintainable system
- Strategy for reusable components for faster development
- Good debugging and problem solving techniques to support the team
- Good team player able to support other team members and contribute to the complete product development
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience in Agile environments - especially Scrum model
- Excellent Stakeholder Management, Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Should be proactive & able to work independently
- Highly initiative with a passion to learn & understand new topics Tech Savvy
- Capable of Conceptual and Logical data modelling for Descriptive Reporting, Simulation, Predictive and Forecast reporting.
- Documenting and interpreting functional and technical specifications
Knowledge on key features on Azure - Data security , Performance, Load Balancing
- Designing a robust system with 99.9% uptime
- Selection of right Azure service
- Cloud-specific patterns and technologies
- Multiple UI rendering tools exposure
- Expert in DevOps and Data pipeline
- Knowledge on Security features required for cloud solution
- Full Stack exposure across DB, ETL and reporting layers
Domain experience various functions like revenue, Sales, Cost, Purchase of a software development organization
Knowledge of Quality process
Experience in understanding business requirement & work with source system experts to support team in estimation, designing the solution and arrive the optimized timelines
Tasks and Deliverables
- Design the system architecture using state of art tools and technologies. Document the technical documents
- Define the Architecture to cater
- Changes and enhancements for next 7 years
- Handle new requirements
- Futuristic Design
- Designing a business continuity strategy
- Take independent decision to achieve project objective
- Collaborates with Solution and other IT Architects on the delivery of Solution/IT Product functionalities
- Defines consistent system specific guidelines for the software development environment in alignment with central guidelines and solution excellence organization.
- Support ProjectProgram manager during QG audits related to architecture
- Update the architecture status to all stakeholders.
- People Management
- Motivate the team
- Train the team members
- Mentoring budding architects
Manage overall with other teams support
- Monitor performance of data pipeline, troubleshoot incident, and provide support to end-users
- Running workloads securely on Azure
- Implementing Azure authentication and securing data
- Implement CICD
