The Adobe Document Cloud team is lookingfor a highly motivatedengineering leaderandtechnical thinker to join & lead ahigh caliber,fast paced team.The engineeringleaderis expected to have deep experience of building responsive, low latency, high performance web applications, distributed systems and managing highly skilled teams.
What you will do:

• Managing a full stack team of back-endand front-endengineerswith a strong focus on user experience and workflows.
• Collaborate with product management, architectsand other engineering teamsin Document Cloud and rest of Adobeto create the technical vision, and road map for the team.
• Partnering with Product Management and Design to lead feature execution across engineering disciplines to deliver great experiences
• Lead the design, development and testing of fluid, responsive, secure, large scale web applications.
• Define and drive the best software development/engineering and operational practices for the team.
• Explore new open-source technologies, adopt and contribute back to open-source.
• Mentoring people, helping them grow, and develop their careers
• Providing oversight, accountability, and leadership for technical decisions with a bias for action
• Be well versed in emerging industry technologies andtrends andcommunicate that knowledge to the team and use it to influence product direction.

Must have skills:

• B. Tech./B.S/B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree
• 10+ years of software engineering experience building front-end & server/service applicationswith experience in managing people and engineering projects
• Experience in design and development of web applications/distributed systems
• Strong hands on experience infront-endtechnologies and codingskillsin HTML, JS, React etc.
• Good to have experience on Java, C++, Pythonor any otherserver-sideprogramminglanguages.
• Has breadth of knowledge across the stackofweb technologies-Cloud Computing, HTML/JS, CDN, Dev tools, React, Angular, PWA, GraphQL, REST, Micro-services, Redis Cache, messaging systems, data stores such as HBase, managed SQL DB, etc.
• Goes above and beyond to create high-quality, stable products that customers enjoy using
• Brings people together across teams to successfully collaborate on innovative solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred skills:

• 2+ years as an Engineering Manager or an Architect
• Experience with technical operations and CI/CD
• Experiencewith git, Command line tools
• Experiencewith monitoring systems likeSplunk,NewRelic,DataDog, Grafanaetc
