A specialist in Android and/or iOS, who collaborates with engineering & product management to understand the requirements & value it adds, does feasibility studies, decomposes complex product & engineering requirements into simpler and straight forward solutions. One who collaborates with specialists from desktop platform, services, infra and product design to deliver products that are user-friendly, optimized, secure and scalable. As a technical leader focus on innovation/patents, strongly advocate code re-usability, avoid duplicate efforts and act as a gatekeeper to ensure teams follow highest level of engineering practices.
Role Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, lead and implement enterprise mobile application Citrix Workspace App
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
- Participate in Agile development and testing environment
- Actively supports, communicates and enforces the companys software engineering processes and standards
- Contribute to Quality and Process improvements throughout the development life cycle
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
- Work on bug fixing, complex customer escalations and improving application performance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters/PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or related field with 12-15 years of hands on design and development experience
- Hands-on experience on Android (Java/Kotlin) and/or iOS (Objective-C/SWIFT)
- Experience in architecting enterprise grade mobile applications
- In depth Understanding of design principles, interface guidelines and best practices for coding.
- Hands on experience in Multi-threaded programming and good knowledge of networking concepts - accessing data as JSON/ XML using REST APIs
- Good knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms and OS fundamentals
- Experience with Agile development methodology (preferably scrum), CI-CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.)
- Good to have: exposure to micro-services (C#.NET or Java Springboot) or Web technologies (JS, TS, ReactJs) or C/C++
