Job Description

Type of games/experiences to be built here would be of social casual/hypercasual category in a 3D multiplayer setup. The genres of the games would be varied and spread across quest, battle royal, trivia, lifestyle, sports etc.

The main objective of the platform is to foster and encourage social interaction and connectivity within the players through the world setup and multiple activities and experiences that will be hosted at AltWorld.

We are willing to partner with individuals and agencies/studios to build these games on our

platform and render end-to-end game delivery services from design to development and testing.

What is the job

As a Backend Developer you will be the big boss behind the screen. You will manage the game infrastructure to run the platform smoothly and deal with massive amounts of data efficiently. You will also manage all the game inventories such as Metaverse data, Avatar, Skins, 3D assets etc.

What you will really be doing

Contributing to the architecture and design of our servers using primarily Golang with Flask deployed on AWS Servers
Implementing server features to robustly support millions of mobile game players
You will be working with a worldwide multi cluster Couchbase and Elasticsearch database
Interfacing with other teams on any server-related issues affecting them

You'll think creatively and be motivated by challenges and constantly striving for the best.
